Thomas Gaunt House

The Thomas Gaunt House, also known as The President's Home, is a historic residence located in Maryville, Missouri. Built around 1865, this two-story brick dwelling showcases late Greek Revival architecture with its modified 'L' shape, shallow pitched hipped roof, and Neoclassical porches supported by Tuscan columns. Currently owned by Northwest Missouri State University, it serves as the home for the university's president and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, making it a notable site for both tourists and researchers interested in American architectural history.
