Art Car Museum ("The Garage Mahal")

The Art Car Museum was founded in 1998 as a nonprofit dedicated to contemporary and outsider art with an emphasis on art cars and mobile sculptures. The museum maintains exhibitions of decorated vehicles and related artworks and is closely associated with Houston's annual Art Car Parade. It also hosts rotating shows featuring local and international contemporary artists.
