Maguindanao Provincial Capitol (Shariff Aguak)

The Maguindanao Provincial Capitol, located in Shariff Aguak, Maguindanao del Sur, is a significant government building that has served various roles since its establishment. Originally the seat of government for the undivided Maguindanao province from 2007 to 2009, it has a rich history marked by political changes and events, including its construction by Andal Ampatuan Sr. and its later repurposing after the infamous Maguindanao massacre. The building features three storeys and includes unique facilities such as a jacuzzi whirlpool pool in the governor's wing.
