First National Bank of Rock River

The First National Bank of Rock River, built in 1919 during an oil boom in Rock River, Wyoming, operated briefly from 1920 until its closure in 1923 due to the collapse of the boom and embezzlement issues. The building has since served various community purposes, including a post office, civic center, fire station, and library. Architecturally, it features a one-story brick structure with stucco and classical Ionic columns. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988, making it a notable site for tourists and researchers interested in local history and architecture.
