Twilight Epiphany (James Turrell Skyspace)

Twilight Epiphany is a Skyspace by artist James Turrell located on the Rice University campus. It was completed in 2012 and consists of a recessed chamber with an oculus that presents programmed light sequences at sunrise and sunset. The work hosts scheduled public light-and-sound ceremonies and is a well-documented example of site-specific contemporary art in Houston.
