Otranto Plantation

Otranto Plantation is a historic plantation house located in Hanahan, South Carolina, built before 1778. This charming 1 1/2-story stuccoed brick dwelling features a distinctive gable roof and an attached colonnaded piazza on three sides. Although the original structure was destroyed by fire in 1934, it has been carefully restored using historical photographs. The plantation was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978, making it a significant site for tourists and researchers interested in early American architecture and history.
