Museum of the American Revolution - George Washington's tent

The Museum of the American Revolution preserves and displays General George Washington's field headquarters tent, a rare surviving artifact from the Revolutionary War. The museum's exhibits interpret Washington's military leadership and the roles of other Revolutionary-era figures such as Marquis de Lafayette and Philip Schuyler. The institution opened in 2017 and draws on primary-source objects to tell the story of the Revolution from multiple personal and military perspectives.
