St. Ignatius Church (University of San Francisco)

St. Ignatius Church on the University of San Francisco campus was completed in 1914 and serves as the university's primary Catholic church and a prominent local landmark. The large Gothic Revival–influenced structure sits at the base of Lone Mountain and is used for university liturgies, concerts, and community events. Its scale and visibility make it a notable architectural feature in the western part of the city.
