Watson Log Cabin

The Watson Log Cabin, built in 1908 by Robert Montgomery Watson, is a unique historic site located in Tahoe City, California. As the only historic log cabin in the area, it offers visitors a glimpse into early 20th-century architecture and local history. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, the cabin is now managed by the North Lake Tahoe Historical Society and is open to the public seasonally. Nearby, Watson Creek and Watson Lake are also named in honor of R. M. Watson, adding to the historical significance of the region.
