Motown Museum (Hitsville U.S.A.)

The Motown Museum, housed in the former Hitsville U.S.A. building, is where Berry Gordy founded Motown Records in 1959. Studio A inside the museum is preserved as the location where many Motown artists recorded hits. The museum offers guided tours that interpret Motown's role in Detroit's music culture and American popular music history.
