Jane's Carousel (Fulton Ferry Landing, Brooklyn Bridge Park)

Jane's Carousel is a restored 1922 carousel housed in a glass pavilion designed by Jean Nouvel at Fulton Ferry Landing in Brooklyn Bridge Park; the pavilion opened in 2011. The restoration was completed by Jane and David Walentas, and the carousel operates as a publicly accessible, site-specific attraction within the park. The transparent pavilion protects the historic carousel while framing views of the East River and Brooklyn Bridge, integrating the installation with its waterfront site.
