The Syndicate Block is a historic commercial building in La Porte City, Iowa, constructed by the La Porte Improvement Company between 1891 and 1894. As the largest commercial structure in the city, it showcases late Victorian architectural styling with distinctive brick pilasters and round arched windows. The building features a unified design, decorative brickwork, and a prominent stone plaque marking its historical significance. Despite some alterations to the storefronts, the upper floor retains its original character.
