Colorado Building

The Colorado Building, located in Downtown Pueblo, Colorado, is a historic commercial structure built in 1925 for the Southern Colorado Investment Company. This four-story building, designed by the William N. Bowman Co., features striking dark red tapestry brick facades with off-white brick columns that create vertical divisions of windows. Notable architectural elements include rectangular white panels outlined in red beneath the windows, originally intended for 160 office rooms, as well as a decorative terra cotta frieze. The building was recognized for its historical significance and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1992, making it an interesting site for both tourists and researchers interested in early 20th-century architecture.
