Black Rock Plantation House

Black Rock Plantation House, also known as the Allen-Love House, is a historic plantation house located near Riegelwood, North Carolina. Built around 1845, this two-story structure features a five-bay braced frame design with Federal and Greek Revival interior elements. The house is characterized by its weatherboard sheathing and gable roof, along with a rear shed roof addition and a renovated front porch. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2014, making it a significant site for tourists and researchers interested in American architectural history.
