Tiger-Anderson House

The Tiger-Anderson House is a historic Greek Revival farmhouse located west of Springfield, Illinois, built around 1832. This two-story brick structure features an L-shaped design with a central front entrance adorned with a transom and sidelights. Notably, Moses K. Anderson, who served as Illinois' adjutant general for 18 years, resided here from 1868 to 1881. The house was recognized for its historical significance and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986, making it an interesting site for tourists and researchers alike.
