Buckhorn Saloon & Texas Ranger Museum

The Buckhorn Saloon began as a downtown saloon established in 1881 and occupies a historic commercial building adjacent to the River Walk and Alamo Plaza. Its preserved interior and façade reflect late 19th-century commercial architecture and barroom layout. The site now houses museum collections of mounted wildlife and Texas Ranger artifacts, interpreting regional social and commercial history.
