Boys' Club of Pittsburgh

The Boys' Club of Pittsburgh, located in the historic Lawrenceville neighborhood, is a notable building originally constructed in 1912 as the Lawrenceville YMCA. Designed by architect Robert Trimble, it featured amenities such as a gymnasium, swimming pool, and bowling alley. In 1928, it became the Pittsburgh Boys' Club, part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, serving the community until 2000. After a brief period as a charter school, the building was transformed into apartments and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2018, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in local history and architecture.
