BGMEA Complex

The BGMEA Complex is an office building in Uttara, Dhaka, serving as the headquarters for the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association. Originally inaugurated in 2006, the previous building faced legal challenges due to its illegal construction on canal land, leading to a court-ordered demolition in 2020. The new headquarters, inaugurated in 2019, features two high-rise buildings with modern facilities including an exhibition center, a 750-capacity auditorium, and seminar rooms. The complex aims to enhance the operations of the garment industry, a vital sector in Bangladesh's economy, and includes a newly established Textile Technology Business Center and a digital plenary named after the first BGMEA president.
