Detroit Athletic Club (Beaux-Arts clubhouse)

The Detroit Athletic Club was designed by Albert Kahn and completed in 1915 as a Beaux-Arts private social and athletic clubhouse in downtown Detroit. The DAC includes elaborate banquet halls, lounges, and historic athletic facilities that have served Detroit's business and social communities for over a century. Its limestone façade and richly detailed interiors reflect early-20th-century clubhouse architecture and craftsmanship. The club continues to operate and retains much of its historic interior detailing.
