Casa Serra

Casa Serra is a stunning example of Modernisme architecture located in Barcelona, designed by the renowned architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch. Built between 1903 and 1908 for Pere Serra, the building has a rich history and has served various purposes over the years. Today, it houses the Provincial Deputation of Barcelona. Notably, a section of the building facing Avinguda Diagonal was demolished in 1981 and replaced with a modern office structure, creating a striking contrast that sparked controversy.
