Grand Ole Opry House - ongoing live radio tradition

The Grand Ole Opry began as a radio broadcast in 1925 on WSM and is commonly cited as the longest-running radio broadcast in the United States. The Grand Ole Opry moved into the current Grand Ole Opry House when that venue opened in 1974. The Opry House hosts regular live country music shows that continue the program's national broadcast and performance traditions.
