Eddy Homestead

The Eddy Homestead is a historic farmhouse located in rural western Johnston, Rhode Island, built in the late 18th or early 19th century. This well-preserved example of vernacular architecture features a unique floor plan typical of the region, with the cooking fireplace situated in a front room. The house remained in the Eddy family for most of the 19th century and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986, making it an interesting site for tourists and researchers interested in local history and architecture.
