Glasscock County Courthouse

The Glasscock County Courthouse, located in Garden City, Texas, is a historic building constructed between 1909 and 1910, designed by architect Edward Columbus Hosford. This striking structure features granite and rusticated stone with gable front porticoes supported by Doric columns. Notably, it lacks a clock tower, distinguishing it from other courthouses designed by Hosford. Visitors can also see the original courthouse building on the property, which served as a jail after the new courthouse was completed.
