Union Oyster House

Dating to 1826, the Union Oyster House is widely recognized as the oldest continuously operating restaurant in the United States. The building is a National Historic Landmark and has long been associated with Boston's seafood trade and waterfront commerce. Statesman Daniel Webster was a frequent patron and is said to have had a favorite booth in the restaurant.
