Granary Burying Ground

Granary Burying Ground was established in 1660 and is one of Boston's oldest burial grounds. It contains the graves of several prominent Revolutionary-era figures, including statesman John Hancock and patriot Samuel Adams. The site features numerous 17th- and 18th-century headstones and is a documented stop on the Freedom Trail.
