Trinity Church (Copley Square) - H. H. Richardson's masterwork

Trinity Church in Copley Square was designed by architect Henry Hobson Richardson and completed in 1877; it is widely cited as Richardson's masterwork and a defining example of the Richardsonian Romanesque style. The building's design and decoration influenced American ecclesiastical architecture in the late 19th century. The church occupies a prominent site in Boston's Back Bay and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
