Deep Eddy Pool

Deep Eddy Pool is a spring-fed public swimming pool located on the Colorado River in the Deep Eddy neighborhood and is commonly cited as the oldest swimming pool in Texas with origins in the early 20th century. The pool has been rebuilt and restored multiple times following flood damage and is operated by the City of Austin. It remains a popular local recreation spot with scheduled public swim hours and community events. The adjacent Deep Eddy Park provides picnic and playground facilities for neighborhood visitors.
