Harrison Gray Otis House

The Harrison Gray Otis House at 141 Cambridge Street was built in 1796–1800 and designed by architect Charles Bulfinch. It was the city residence of Harrison Gray Otis, a prominent lawyer, U.S. Congressman, and three-term mayor of Boston. The Federal-style building is preserved as a historic house museum by Historic New England and interprets early 19th-century elite Boston life.
