Brown Palace Hotel (historic construction)

The Brown Palace Hotel opened in 1892 and was designed by architect Frank E. Edbrooke; it has operated continuously as a hotel since opening. Built in a triangular footprint of red sandstone and brick, the hotel retained many original interior features such as its grand atrium and historic elevators through successive renovations. Over its long history the Brown Palace has served as a fixture of Denver's historic built environment and continues to operate as a luxury hotel in downtown Denver.
