NMAAHC rooftop terrace views

The National Museum of African American History and Culture includes exterior terraces and a roofline that provide elevated sightlines across the National Mall toward the Washington Monument. The terraces are part of the museum's public areas and are visible during regular museum hours; timed-entry passes are required for museum entry. Visitors often use the terraces for unobstructed photographs of the Monument and Mall from a less-crowded angle than many Mall viewpoints.
