House of Hospitality (Balboa Park)

The House of Hospitality is a historic building located in Balboa Park, San Diego, originally constructed for the Panama–California Exposition in 1915. Initially intended as a temporary structure, it was repurposed for the California Pacific International Exposition in 1935. Although the original building was demolished in the 1990s due to structural issues, it was meticulously reconstructed to preserve its historical significance. Today, it serves as the Balboa Park Visitors Center and houses the offices of the Balboa Park Conservancy and various organizations, making it a central hub for visitors exploring the park's rich cultural offerings.
