Boxley Place

Boxley Place is a historic home located in Louisa, Virginia, originally built in 1860 in an Italianate/Greek Revival style. The house underwent significant remodeling in 1918 by architect D. Wiley Anderson, adopting a Colonial Revival style. Visitors can admire its impressive two-story brick structure, featuring a grand portico with Ionic columns and distinctive Chinese Chippendale railings. The property also includes a contributing log house and well, making it a fascinating site for both tourists and researchers interested in architectural history. Boxley Place was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.
