Morgan-Gold House

The Morgan-Gold House, also known as 'Golden Meadows', is a historic home located in Bunker Hill, West Virginia. This L-shaped, two-story log dwelling features a stone foundation and showcases a blend of architectural styles, with its front section built around 1809 in Greek Revival style. The rear ell dates back to 1745, constructed by David Morgan, the son of West Virginia's first white settler. The property also includes three log outbuildings and a Victorian-era granary, making it a fascinating site for tourists and researchers interested in early American history and architecture. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.
