Ivory Sands House

The Ivory Sands House, built in 1839, is a historic two-story brick structure located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Notable for its transitional Federal-Greek Revival architecture, it is one of the few surviving Federal period brick houses in the city. This house was the first of four constructed by the Sands family, who were prominent brickmakers in the area during the 19th century. The house was recognized for its historical significance and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, making it an interesting site for tourists and researchers alike.
