National Archives Building (featured in National Treasure)

The National Archives Building's Rotunda and surrounding public areas at this address were used on camera for the 2004 film National Treasure, which centers on the Declaration of Independence housed there. Filmmakers obtained permission to shoot scenes in and around the Rotunda and archival display spaces. The building is the official repository for the U.S. Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and Bill of Rights.
