Tre Hjorter

Tre Hjorter is a historic building in Copenhagen's Latin Quarter, originally a hotel established in the 16th century. It served as a popular lodging for farmers and aspiring theologians, and was embroiled in a scandal in the 1720s involving bribery. The hotel was destroyed in the Copenhagen Fire of 1728 and again in the Second Great Fire of 1795, but was rebuilt each time. By the late 19th century, it was the last remaining hotel on Vestergade, closing its doors in 1929. Today, the ground floor houses Tyrolia Bier Klub, a bar that continues the building's legacy of hospitality.
