Shirley-Eustis House (Governor William Shirley)

The Shirley-Eustis House in Roxbury was built for colonial governor William Shirley in 1747–1751 and is one of the rare surviving governor's mansions from the colonial period. The house is designated a National Historic Landmark and interprets Governor Shirley's role in Massachusetts colonial government and mid-18th-century elite domestic life.
