San Antonio Museum of Art (SAMA)

The San Antonio Museum of Art is located in the former Lone Star Brewery complex on the Museum Reach of the River Walk and has occupied that site since 1981. Its collections span more than 5,000 years and include significant holdings in Latin American, Ancient Mediterranean, Asian, and contemporary art. SAMA offers rotating exhibitions, educational programs, and public events that serve San Antonio's cultural community.
