Fuerte de Punta Carnero

Fuerte de Punta Carnero is a historic fortification located near Algeciras, Spain, built before 1735 to protect against invasions following the loss of Gibraltar. The fort played a crucial role in coastal defense, featuring a watchtower and housing up to twenty soldiers. It was destroyed in 1810 to prevent its use by French forces during the Napoleonic Wars.
