Joseph Cleale House

The Joseph Cleale House, built between 1820 and 1825, is a beautifully preserved example of transitional Federal and Greek Revival architecture located in Sherborn, Massachusetts. This historic 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame house features a front-facing gable roof, clapboard siding, and unique twin recessed porches, along with Gothic-style window caps. Recognized for its architectural significance, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986, making it an interesting site for both tourists and researchers interested in early American architecture.
