Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center (MACC)

The MACC, located on the south bank of Lady Bird Lake, opened in 2007 and serves as a city cultural center dedicated to Mexican American arts, culture, and history. The facility hosts rotating visual-art exhibitions, performances, festivals, and community workshops, and includes gallery and performance spaces. The center is managed by the City of Austin and is a focal point for Latino cultural programming in the city.
