Columbia Center (tall-but-not-iconic gag)

Columbia Center, completed in 1985 at 701 5th Ave, is the tallest skyscraper in Seattle and Washington state at 937 feet and includes the Sky View Observatory on its upper floors. Its height dominates the downtown skyline, but it lacks the single-symbol recognition of the Space Needle. Locals commonly joke that Columbia Center is the city's tallest building but not its most 'Seattle' landmark.
