Hotel Casa Lucia, located in the Retiro section of Buenos Aires, is a historic five-star hotel that originally opened in 1929 as an office building for shipping magnate Nicolás Mihanovich. Once the tallest building in Argentina and Latin America, it features an eclectic design inspired by the Tomb of Mausolus. After years of decline, the building was transformed into a luxury hotel by Accor, reopening in January 2024 after extensive renovations.
