Balboa Park Botanical Building

The Botanical Building in Balboa Park was constructed for the 1915 Panama-California Exposition and is one of the park's most-photographed structures. It is a large lath-covered building that houses hundreds of plant species and overlooks the adjacent Lily Pond. The building remains an iconic feature of the Uptown/Balboa Park neighborhood and is open to the public for viewing its plant collections.
