Stock Center

The Stock Center in Cody, Wyoming, is a historic site built in 1927, originally serving as the Buffalo Bill Museum until its relocation in 1969. Designed to resemble a stockman's log cabin, this one-story building features a lobby and various exhibit rooms that replicate a rancher's living space. After the museum's move, the property was acquired by local oilman and former mayor Paul Stock, who donated it for community use. The Stock Center was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976, making it a notable destination for tourists and researchers interested in local history and the legacy of Buffalo Bill Cody.
