Longos Mansion

The Longos Mansion, also known as the Red House for its distinctive red brick exterior, is a historic three-storey building located in Agias Sofias Square, Thessaloniki. Designed in 1926 by architect Leonardo Gennari for wealthy textile industrialist Grigorios Longos, the mansion showcases Neobyzantine architecture. It has a rich history, including a period of abandonment that sparked rumors of hauntings. Once home to a popular café, it now houses a restaurant and a store for PAOK FC merchandise, following its purchase by businessman Ivan Savvidis in 2014. The mansion is a notable landmark for both tourists and researchers interested in Thessaloniki's architectural heritage.
