The Statler Hotel (built for the Statler chain)

The Statler Hotel in downtown Dallas opened in 1956 as the Statler Hilton, part of the Statler Hotels chain founded by Ellsworth Statler. The property operated for decades as a major downtown hotel and underwent a comprehensive renovation before reopening as The Statler in the 21st century.
