2007 armed robbery and 2008 conviction of O. J. Simpson at Palace Station

On September 13, 2007, O. J. Simpson and several accomplices were involved in an armed confrontation in a hotel room at the Palace Station Hotel & Casino, where they attempted to recover sports memorabilia. Simpson was arrested in Las Vegas and later convicted in 2008 in a Nevada state court of multiple felonies including armed robbery and kidnapping; he was sentenced to up to 33 years in prison with parole eligibility after nine years. He was granted parole and released in October 2017. The case was widely reported and took place at the Palace Station property on West Sahara Avenue.
