Wang Theatre (Thomas W. Lamb movie palace)

The Wang Theatre opened in 1925 as the Metropolitan Theatre and was designed by architect Thomas W. Lamb, exemplifying the ornate movie-palace architecture of the early 20th century. Its interior features lavish Baroque- and Renaissance-inspired decoration, a large proscenium arch, and a multi-tiered auditorium. The theatre underwent major restorations in the late 20th century and remains a restored performance venue operated by the Boch Center.
