Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) - Seaport

The Institute of Contemporary Art relocated to a new waterfront building in the Seaport District and reopened at 25 Harbor Shore Drive in 2006; the building is noted for its cantilevered design over Boston Harbor. The ICA presents rotating exhibitions of contemporary visual art, performance, and film, and runs public programs and educational initiatives for the city. Its presence on the waterfront has been a visible element of Boston's contemporary arts and cultural redevelopment of the Seaport area.
